CCTV
CCTV cameras can be a vital part of your site security strategy. If you have entrances or areas of your site that may be vulnerable to intruders, you may feel that you would benefit from a CCTV system.
Cameras may not always be a deterrent for malicious criminals but they can be a useful tool for gathering evidence or for checking that areas are correctly occupied, or not as the case may be. Major improvements in technology have resulted in the effective obsolescence of video tapes. Camera and recording equipment allow you to build a very comprehensive CCTV system with far more functionality than was available in the past.
Primarily as an enhancement to access control, Mastiff supply and install systems ranging from a single camera to view a door to a full blown system of fully functional Pan/Tilt and Zoom cameras and DVR recording equipment.
CCTV systems are now also capable of operation over LAN (Local area data network) and WAN (Wide area data network) and Mastiff also supplies and installs IP cameras, Video Servers and associated NVR/s. With the network connectivity of recording equipment it is also possible to link CCTV recorded images to activities or alarms on your access control system. This can be extremely useful for such things as verifying that the correct cardholder accessed a door or for recording video images leading up to a door alarm being triggered.
