Monitoring Assets

Asset monitoring can be a rather different application to monitoring people and alarms.

Traditionally, radio transmitter tags are attached to an article be it a picture, laptop, vehicle etc. The tag signal is detected by a reader and any activity is logged by an access control software package. Mastiff can source, supply and install this type of equipment on request.

As technology development progresses, one of the latest methods to monitor fixed assets is by utilising video analytics on CCTV systems. Cameras and recording equipment can be configured to view "marked" fixed assets and then trigger an output alarm when the asset is moved out of place.

One example being to monitor vehicle activity in a car parking space.
